Our WHS Computer Science UIL team received 1st Place at their UIL competition. In addition, Jerry J. (center) received 1st place for individual and Antonio G. (left) received 4th place.The team will be competing in regionals and Jerry will be competing in regionals individually as well. Great job team! #WhartonProud
An architectural firm from Lubbock,, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, generously presented the Wharton ISD with a check in the amount of $17,000 to be used to replace our plasma cutter that was damaged in our welding classroom.

Mr. Zuniga's Ag Mechanics class is building a Picnic table for the Wharton Fair Fund Live Auction. Come have some good food, live Auction and Dancing. Come out and support our Wharton FFA & 4-H students.

Abby King and Michael Limas representing TEAM Wharton. Their efforts resulted in generous donations that resulted in over $90,000 that is being used to replace damaged supplies and equipment that were lost as a result of the flooding at Wharton High School.
Rosemary Rust, A.C. Shelton and Jeffrey Blair are representing the Barbara and Walter Young Foundation presented Wharton ISD $43,000 to fund innovative teaching grants that are providing meaningful materials and experiences for our students in a variety of instructional areas.
