Wharton ISD cannot thank the Barbara and Walter Young Foundation enough for supporting our staff and students by funding grants that directly impact students and their education. Thank you Barbara and Walter Young Foundation for all you do. You're making a difference.

Jeffery Blair representing the Gulf Coast Medical Foundation for their donation of $14,000 to assist our Health Science Program and replace damaged equipment lost due to flooding.
Abby King and Michael Limas representing TEAM Wharton. Their efforts resulted in generous donations that resulted in over $90,000 that is being used to replace damaged supplies and equipment that were lost as a result of the flooding at Wharton High School.
Abby King is representing the Mary Louise Dobson Foundation and their generous donation that is assisting in funding the salary for a part-time career counselor at Wharton High School.
Rosemary Rust, A.C. Shelton and Jeffrey Blair are representing the Barbara and Walter Young Foundation presented Wharton ISD $43,000 to fund innovative teaching grants that are providing meaningful materials and experiences for our students in a variety of instructional areas.
