Picture Day is Wednesday, September 19, 2018

Students will not need to bring any money with them to school. Proofs will be sent home approximately 3 weeks after pictures are taken and you can place your order at that time.

Wharton Elementary would like to thank Rebuild Texas Fund and Kaboom!

KaBOOM! and the Rebuild Texas Fund have partnered to help rebuild and restore hurricane-affected community playspaces across Texas

Ensuring kids have safe places to play is critical to helping kids and communities heal following a disaster, as they deal with the stress of lost homes, lost loved ones, lost routine and lost normalcy. Creating and providing playspaces will help kids and communities continue to regain a sense of normalcy and make play an easier choice for families.

KaBOOM! and the Rebuild Texas Fund will work side-by-side to bring play to kids impacted by Hurricane Harvey and provide them a safe, fun environment to build resiliency and cope with the stress often associated with natural disasters. Check out more pictures of our Rigamajig building kits down below.

Did you know that you can access your students grades throughout the year? If you would like to gain access to the txConnect Parent Portal, please send an email to our campus registrar Victoria Ramirez at vramirez@whartonisd.net

You will be given a special ID number with directions on how to set up your students account. If you have any questions please send them to the email above. Thank you for taking the initiative to make sure that your student succeeds!

Wharton Elementary School will be implementing the Leader in Me, a new school-wide program designed to improve the culture of the campus.

As a Leader in Me school we will be teaching our students the 7 Habits to Happy Kids. The Leader in Me is Franklin Covey’s whole school transformation process. It teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader.

Wharton Elementary's vision is to leave lasting Paw Prints of lifelong learning for all students.

Wharton Elementary's mission is to inspire, encourage, and lead our students to EXCELLENCE!
