Asst. Director of Technology & Integration Specialist
Stacie Boudrie is the Coordinator of Instructional Technology and has been in education for 20 years. She began her career as an elementary teacher where she was able to teach all subjects and supported a variety of learners including ESL and Gifted and Talented.
Following her classroom experience, Stacie became an Instructional Technology Specialist with Fort Bend ISD where she serviced both elementary and secondary campus for thirteen years. During this time, Stacie mentored and supported teachers across the district coaching them how to seamlessly implement technology as part of their curriculum and classroom tools. As the job changed to Educational Technology Specialist and then Digital Learning Specialist, Stacie also helped build and support numerous programs including district conferences, pilot programs, and hardware and software testing for student and teacher use.
Stacie joined Wharton ISD in July 2017 as the Assistant Director of Technology and Integration Specialist where she has helped build our 1:1 program which spans 6th - 9th grade while improving technology access and use across the district. She recently transitioned to the Curriculum Department to continue building our instructional technology program and where she plans to effectively support our students and staff not only with instruction, but with technology use as well.
Stacie has an Associates in Arts, a Bachelors in Arts and recently received her Masters in Education from Texas A&M in May 2019. She envisions continued growth with instructional technology across the district and is excited to be a part of such an innovative district to help students and teachers reach their highest potential.
