Director of Special Education- WISD

Mrs. Jones has 15 years of experience in the field of education.  She has taught both secondary and elementary special education; from self-contained to inclusion. Mrs. Jones has also been successful in the field of special education sitting in both campus and district level leadership roles.

A Houston native, Mrs. Jones received her Bachelor’s from Houston Baptist University, Master’s from Walden University, and a Principal Certification from Lamar University. Her continued goal is to equip all students to successfully achieve to their fullest potential academically, emotionally, and behaviorally.  Mrs. Jones looks forward to the opportunity to serve the community of Wharton while celebrating the growth of our students.
