Today, Your child should have brought home a Parent Information Envelope letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.
The Reading for Education fundraiser is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.
Here is all you need to do to participate:
1. Go to https://www.rfe.net/sid.t?
2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Envelope with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.
Be sure to ask your child for the Parent Envelope tonight. Your participation will make a difference for our school and teachers!
Thanks,
Wharton Elementary School

Attention Parents:
Due to the completion of the Wharton Jr. High School in December, we have made the following changes to the school schedule:
· October 15th & 16th: Originally scheduled as Professional Learning Days, these will now be regular school days with students and teachers in the classroom.
· December 18th & 19th: These early release days will now mark the start of our Winter Break. Students will be off, and teachers and staff will use this time to move into the new, beautiful Junior High School.
Thank you for understanding the changes made due to the transition to the new Junior High School. Link to the Calendar.

WJH New Arrival Procedures
WJH New Arrival Procedures
This is our new arrival procedure for our students. We have
collaborated and changed our procedures to protect our
students from the rain in the mornings. Bus riders will be
dropped off at the gate by the back of the gym. Car riders will
be dropped off by the tennis courts, the same place they have
been dropped off since the first day of school. Walkers, bus
riders, and car riders will all form a line, enter the gym from the
high school side, go through the metal detectors, get their
backpacks checked, grab breakfast, and sit on the gym floor in
their lines with their grade level. We will exit the gym from the
Junior High School side, heading to 1st period.
