Summer School Information

 

Dates: May 27, 2025 - June 26, 2025 (Students start 5/28/25; 5/27 is a teacher work day)
Student Times: 8:00 - 1:00 (Teacher Hours 7:30-1:30)   Bilingual Students:  7:30-2:30 (Monday-Wednesday, Thursdays 7:30-1:30) 
Breakfast: 7:30-8:00
Lunch: Times will be staggered due to all grade levels being on one campus
Dismissal - 1:00 p.m. (students);  Bilingual Student Dismissal Time:  2:30 M-W; 1:30 Thurs.
Staff Hours:   7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  (Para’s Flex Scheduling for duty);  Bilingual Staff:  7:00-3:00 M-W, 7:00-2:00 Thurs.
Location: Wharton Elementary School
Pay:  Teachers $30.00 per hour (6 hours daily);  Paras-$15 per hour (6 hours daily)

  • Summer School Paraprofessional

  • Special Education Paraprofessional

  • Summer School Receptionist

  • WHS Summer School Content Area Teachers:

    • English I

    • English II

    • Biology

    • Algebra I

    • U.S. History
