Wharton High School's AFJROTC unit has been awarded the AFJROTC Distinguished Unit Award, the highest award a unit can receive during a non-inspection year. Congratulations to all of the Cadets, your hard work and commitment to excellence continue to take the Wharton High School AFJROTC unit to new and greater heights!

AFJROTC will host a Summer enrichment Program for all Cadets (including incoming first-year Cadets.) The cost is FREE and so is the fun...so if you are going to be part of the AFJROTC team next year then take advantage of this opportunity to get ahead of your peers and prepare for upcoming competitions.

We are pleased to announce that beginning in the 22/23 academic year, Wharton High School's AFJROTC program will be offering Cadets the opportunity to participate as members of a competition Archery Team. As with all of the programs we offer, this will be at no cost to the Cadet. All equipment and training will be provided free of charge.
In order to join the Archery Team, you must be a member of the AFJROTC program.
Cadets (including upcoming 1st-year Cadets) will have the opportunity to practice and hone their archery skills during our summer program. For more information regarding the Archery Team, don't hesitate to get in touch with Chief Slacum eslacum@WhartonISD.net.
