Mrs. Monica Rath
Monica Rath joined Wharton Independent School district in 1995. In the last 25 years, she has taught ELAR and Science at the elementary and secondary levels. She has been an administrator for the last nine years in WISD.
Mrs. Rath grew up in Houston and attended school in Spring Branch Independent School District, graduating from Stratford High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston-Victoria in Elementary Education with a specialization in reading. Mrs. Rath earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2010.
Mrs. Rath is the Administrator of CTE (Career and Technical Education) and the ROAR Academy (Early College High School) at Wharton High School. She is committed to the success of every student. She believes in a collaborative school environment as the key to creating a successful learning environment.
